BBW Lawyers is an established legal practice recognised for its professionalism, client-focused approach, and strong internal culture. Having operated from the same premises for many years, the Directors identified the opportunity to create a workplace that more accurately reflected the firm’s values, supported staff wellbeing, and enhanced the overall client experience.

Project Overview

After more than 15 years at 32 Martin Place, BBW Lawyers made the strategic decision to relocate to Castlereagh Street to support the firm’s continued growth and evolving professional identity. The former workspace, while long-standing, was characterised by limited natural light and dated facilities that no longer aligned with the firm’s vision or operational needs.

The move presented an opportunity to create a workplace that felt calm, warm, and welcoming—clearly demonstrating care and respect for both staff and clients. The objective was to deliver a refined yet approachable environment that balanced professionalism with comfort, while fostering focus, well-being, and pride across the team.

TRUE SOLUTION

From the outset, TRUE prioritised collaboration, clarity, and alignment to ensure the Directors’ vision was fully understood and successfully translated into the built environment. Following two initial meetings, TRUE was engaged—reflecting BBW Lawyers’ confidence in the team’s experience, capability, and approach.

The fitout strategy focused on creating a cohesive and well-considered workplace that maximised natural light, upgraded facilities, and delivered a calm, welcoming atmosphere throughout. Clear communication, detailed documentation, and proactive coordination underpinned the project from design through to completion.

The construction phase was delivered over an eight-week period, with careful management to maintain quality standards while closely controlling programme and budget.

THE OUTCOME

The completed fitout has transformed BBW Lawyers’ workplace into a modern, professional, and inviting environment that strongly reflects the firm’s values and vision. Enhanced amenities, improved access to natural light, and a calm, warm aesthetic now support staff wellbeing and create a positive client experience from arrival.

Post-project feedback highlighted the success of both the outcome and the delivery process. BBW Lawyers noted that the TRUE team were consistently proactive, responsive, and solution-focused throughout construction, addressing issues transparently and efficiently as they arose.

The Directors confirmed that the design intent translated seamlessly into the finished space, describing the office as “warm, welcoming and calm—exactly what we were going for.” Budget transparency was also identified as a key strength, with the final cost aligning precisely with expectations and no surprises throughout the project.

Delivered within an eight-week construction timeframe and budget, the project stands as a strong example of TRUE’s ability to deliver high-quality, considered workplace environments while building trusted, long-term client relationships.
