Project Overview
Opportunity International Australia required a refreshed workplace that reflected its professional yet approachable culture while supporting the needs of a small, highly engaged team. A key priority was achieving the best possible workplace outcome within a tightly controlled budget, ensuring the organisation’s resources remained focused on delivering its core mission.
TRUE Fitout & Construction was engaged to deliver a cost‑effective, high‑quality workplace that would reinvigorate the team and provide an environment aligned with Opportunity’s values.
THE CHALLENGE
As a Not‑for‑Profit organisation, financial efficiency was critical. The project required careful cost management without compromising functionality, quality or staff wellbeing.
The programme also presented a scheduling challenge, with the fitout required to be completed within a six‑week timeframe. This demanded a highly coordinated approach, clear communication and full transparency across all stages of delivery.
TRUE SOLUTION
Working in collaboration with Liquid Design, TRUE delivered a clean, minimalist workplace designed to promote wellbeing, openness and connection. A mid‑height planted wall was introduced to define zones while maintaining visual continuity and natural flow throughout the space.
Opportunity’s vibrant branding is thoughtfully balanced against a neutral base palette within the work areas, allowing colour and imagery to be used with purpose. Integrated graphics and imagery throughout the office reinforce Opportunity’s values and provide a constant reminder of the communities the organisation supports.
TRUE delivered the project using an Open Book delivery model, providing full cost transparency and value testing in the open market to ensure maximum return on investment.
THE OUTCOME
Delivered within six weeks and on budget, the completed workplace has had an immediate positive impact on staff engagement and morale.
