Following a period of rapid growth, Versent was acquired by Telstra in October 2023, marking a significant milestone in the company’s evolution.

Project Overview

After occupying their existing premises for more than five years, Versent identified the need to refresh their workplace to better support evolving ways of working and encourage greater staff engagement within the office. The objective was to create a dynamic, flexible environment that reflected Versent’s innovative culture while supporting collaboration across a diverse and highly technical workforce.

TRUE Fitout & Construction was engaged to deliver the project, working closely with Versent and their client‑side consultant, Ratesmiths, to ensure the workplace aligned with both functional requirements and broader business objectives.

The brief focused on delivering a vibrant and engaging office environment that provided a range of work settings to accommodate the varied roles across the business. This included a mix of open collaboration areas, dedicated focus rooms and video conferencing spaces to support both in‑person and virtual collaboration.

TRUE delivered the fitout as a coordinated, end‑to‑end solution, collaborating closely with all stakeholders to ensure the space was both highly functional and reflective of Versent’s brand and culture. Particular emphasis was placed on flexibility and usability, enabling teams to move seamlessly between focused work, meetings and collaborative sessions throughout the day.
